What are the technical problems of thermal insulation aluminum doors and windows?

2024-06-20 Back

The following technical problems may exist in the use of thermal insulation aluminum doors and windows:

1. Quality of thermal insulation strips:

Thermal insulation strips are key components for achieving thermal insulation performance of thermal insulation aluminum doors and windows. If the quality of thermal insulation strips is poor, such as poor material and low strength, it may affect the thermal insulation effect of doors and windows, or even break, resulting in damage to the door and window structure.

Some low-quality thermal insulation strips may deform after long-term use, causing the airtightness of doors and windows to decrease.

2. Sealing performance:

The quality and installation process of the sealing strips will affect the sealing effect of doors and windows. If the sealing strips age quickly, fall off easily or are not sealed tightly, it will cause the exchange of indoor and outdoor air and moisture, affecting the thermal insulation and sound insulation performance.

For example, in windy and rainy weather, doors and windows with poor sealing may leak air and water.

3. Hardware accessories:

The quality and compatibility of hardware accessories are directly related to the smoothness and life of doors and windows. Poor-quality hardware accessories may easily rust, jam, or even damage, affecting the opening and closing and safe use of doors and windows.

For example, poor quality hinges or hinges may cause doors and windows to sag and fail to close properly.

4. Processing technology:

Insufficient processing precision of cutting and splicing of thermally-insulated aluminum doors and windows may cause size deviation of doors and windows, make installation difficult, and affect appearance and performance.

If the splicing is not flat, it will affect airtightness and watertightness.

5. Glass quality:

The type of glass selected does not meet the requirements, such as insufficient insulation and sound insulation, or insufficient glass strength and easy to break.

In a noisy environment, if the selected glass has poor sound insulation, it cannot effectively block external noise.

6. Installation problems:

Insufficient technical level and experience of the installer may cause doors and windows to be installed loosely and not horizontally and vertically, affecting use and performance.

If waterproofing is not done well during installation, leakage problems will occur in the future.

7. Aluminum quality:

Impure aluminum material and insufficient wall thickness may affect the strength and stability of doors and windows.

Aluminum may deform under bad weather or external force, so we need to check whether the manufacturer uses virgin aluminum.
