Configuration of thermal insulation aluminum windows

Profile: The thermal insulation aluminum alloy profile is used, which has a low thermal conductivity coefficient and can effectively prevent heat transfer. To ensure strength and thermal insulation performance, the wall thickness of the profile should generally be above 1.4 mm. For large flats, high floors, villas or in typhoon areas, a thickness of 1.6 mm or above can be considered. In addition, the surface of a good thermal insulation aluminum profile is bright, while the surface made of waste recycled materials will be foggy and dull.


Insulation strip: The insulation strip made of polyamide 66 (PA66) should be used, which is resistant to high temperatures (resistant to 300°C) and has good durability. PA66 insulation strips can effectively reduce the loss of heat through the profile, and at the same time make the upper and lower insulation components of the outer window coplanar, forming an overall insulation surface, blocking cold bridges, and further improving the insulation performance.


Glass: The use of hollow glass can effectively improve the thermal insulation effect of windows. Common configurations include 5+12A+5cm double tempered insulating glass (5 means the glass thickness is 5mm, 12A means the thickness of the intermediate air layer is 12mm). In areas where the heat transfer coefficient is high, Low-E insulating glass can be selected. This glass can effectively block indoor heat loss in the north and reduce solar radiation heat entering the room in the south; three-layer insulating glass can also be considered to enhance thermal insulation performance. The corners of the glass should be marked with the 3C certification mark. The aluminum strips of the insulating glass should be selected with an integrated bending process, which has better sealing and can prevent the window from fogging.


Warm edge strips: Warm edge strips are set around the cavity of the double-layer insulating glass to further block the heat dissipation channel of the glass cavity and improve the thermal insulation performance.


Sealing strips: Such as EPDM strips, which have good elasticity, can play a buffering role, have strong anti-aging and sealing properties, can enhance the airtightness of the window, and reduce the heat exchange caused by air infiltration.


Drainage system: A reasonably designed drainage system can quickly drain rainwater, keep the room dry, and avoid leakage problems.


Hardware accessories: Choose high-quality hardware accessories, such as German brand SIGINIA and imported HOB handles, to ensure smooth, stable and safe window opening and closing, and also extend the service life of the window. Hardware accessories should pay attention to choosing a complete set of brand products to avoid merchants using branded goods only in handles and other parts, while other accessories are replaced with inferior products.


Screens: Diamond screens can be selected, and the material should be 304 stainless steel, which can be easily identified by magnet testing. In the south, the window screens are generally integrated, and in the north, detachable styles can be selected for daily cleaning.


Others: In some cases where higher insulation requirements are required, thermal insulation materials can be added to the profile insulation cavity to meet specific heat transfer coefficient (K value) requirements.


In addition, attention should be paid to the processing technology of the windows. Insulated aluminum windows with fine processing and exquisite installation have good sealing performance and can be opened and closed easily. When choosing insulated aluminum windows, it is recommended to refer to national standards and choose products from regular manufacturers. At the same time, pay attention to the price of the product. Too low a price may mean that there are quality problems. During installation, construction specifications should also be ensured to give full play to the various properties of thermal insulation aluminum windows. The specific configuration selection can be comprehensively considered based on actual needs, budget, local climate conditions and other factors.
