The process flow of making aluminum alloy doors and windows is usually divided into the following four steps:

1. Cutting: also known as "cutting", it is the first process of aluminum alloy door and window production, and it is also a key process. Cutting mainly uses cutting equipment. The length of the material should be determined according to the design requirements and refer to the door and window construction drawings. The cutting is required to be accurate; otherwise, the squareness of the doors and windows is difficult to guarantee, and the error value of the cutting size should be controlled within 2mm. Generally speaking, the cutting of sliding doors and windows should be cut at right angles; the cutting of casement doors and windows should be cut at 45°; other types should choose the cutting method according to the assembly method.

2. Drilling: The frame and sash assembly of aluminum alloy doors and windows is generally connected by screws. Therefore, whether it is the assembly of horizontal and vertical rods or the fixing of accessories, holes need to be drilled in the corresponding positions. For drilling profiles, you can use a small bench drill or a pistol-type electric drill. The former can effectively ensure the accuracy of the drilling position because it has a workbench; while the latter is because it is easy to operate. Before drilling, the profile should be marked with lines according to the assembly requirements. The drilling position should be accurate and the hole diameter should be appropriate. The drilling holes should not be changed repeatedly on the profile surface, because once the holes are formed, they are difficult to repair.

3. Assembly: The profiles are assembled by connecting the connectors with screws according to the requirements of the construction drawing. There are three ways to assemble aluminum alloy doors and windows: 45° angle docking, right-angle docking and vertical docking. The connection of horizontal and vertical bars is generally made of special connectors or aluminum angles, and then fixed with screws, bolts or aluminum rivets.

4. Protection or packaging: After assembly, the doors and windows are protected or packaged to prevent damage during transportation and installation.
