PA66 nylon insulation strips and PVC insulation strips mainly have the following differences:

1. Material properties

   PA66 nylon insulation strips have higher strength and toughness, can withstand greater tension and pressure, and are not easy to deform.

   PVC insulation strips are relatively brittle, with poor strength and toughness, and are prone to breakage when subjected to force.

2. Temperature resistance

   PA66 nylon insulation strips can maintain stable performance at higher temperatures and can withstand high temperatures of about 240°C.

   PVC insulation strips have poor temperature resistance and usually begin to soften and deform at around 80°C.

3. Dimensional stability

   PA66 nylon insulation strips have good dimensional stability and are not prone to expansion and contraction deformation during long-term use.

   PVC insulation strips are easily affected by temperature and humidity, and their dimensional stability is not as good as PA66.

4. Thermal insulation performance

   Although both have a certain thermal insulation effect, PA66 nylon insulation strips are generally better in thermal insulation.

5. Service life

   PA66 nylon insulation strips have a long service life and can maintain good performance for a long time.

   PVC insulation strips are prone to aging and have a relatively short service life.

6. Combustion performance

   PA66 nylon insulation strips are not easy to burn, and there is no smoke and no irritating odor when burning.

   PVC insulation strips are flammable and produce black smoke and pungent odor when burning.

7. Price

   PA66 nylon insulation strips have a high cost and are relatively expensive.

   PVC insulation strips are cheap.

For example, in some areas with large temperature differences, doors and windows using PA66 nylon insulation strips can better cope with temperature changes, maintain structural stability and good thermal insulation performance; while doors and windows using PVC insulation strips may deform and have poor sealing due to insufficient performance of the insulation strips.
