The glass curtain wall, which is light and modern in shape and 10% lighter than the traditional exterior wall, has become the most suitable "outerwear" for high-rise buildings.

When I set out to design a glass curtain wall for a skyscraper, the first thing I considered was its integration with the surrounding environment. The texture, cultural heritage and climatic conditions of the city are all sources of inspiration for my design. In sunny areas, I will choose glass with good thermal insulation properties, which can not only reduce indoor energy consumption, but also avoid direct strong light.

During the design process, the color and transparency of the glass were also carefully selected. Sometimes, I will choose transparent ultra-white glass to make the building seem to blend into the sky, showing the ultimate simplicity and atmosphere; sometimes, I will use colored glass or coated glass to add a unique color and texture to the building, making it an eye-catching focus in the city.

The splicing method of glass curtain walls is a unique art. Whether it is a regular matrix arrangement or a dynamic curve combination, it can give the building a different character. The toughness of straight lines and the softness of curves are all displayed in the splicing of these pieces of glass.

Not only that, the glass curtain wall also has powerful functionality. It can effectively block the invasion of wind and rain and provide a comfortable and quiet space inside the building. At the same time, the good sound insulation effect also protects people in it from the interference of the outside noise.
